Sabudana Khichdi - is an Indian dish made with soaked tapioca pearls then flavored with crushed peanuts, boiled potatoes, ginger and lemon juice. It is mainly prepared during navarathiri festival.. But you can prepare this on regular days too as a breakfast. It will be a delicious breakfast. Since it has boiled potato, peanuts and tapioca pearls, this dish is quite filling. You can also have this as an afternoon snack.

Soaking time of sabudana is very important. If you soak it in too much water, then it will get mushy and will stick together. Also, for the small tapioca pearls, 2 to 3 hours soaking may enough. Here, I am using larger ones. So it needs to be soaked overnight. For this type khichdi, use large tapioca pearls. It won't get mushy easily.
