For this laddu, you can adjust the nuts and fruits quantity as per your wish. But add dates more as it gives the sweetness and softness to the laddu. Cardamom powder and nutmeg powder adds extra flavor and aroma to the laddus. Now, let's see how to make..

1Take all the dry fruits and keep it ready. First, heat a pan and add almond, cashew and pista. Roast it over low flame just for few seconds or till all nuts are getting little hot. You don't need to roast well enough to change its color, roast it just enough to get hot then transfer to a plate. Let it cool it down.

2After that, add the nuts to the mixer/blender along with one cardamom and a pinch of nutmeg. Grind into a little coarse powder. Transfer the powder to a bowl and keep it aside. Then take the dates, remove the seeds and chop them into small pieces. Chop figs also into small pieces.

3Now, take the chopped fig into a mixer and grind them. It doesn't need to be pasty. Transfer this to a pan.

4In the same mixer, add the chopped dates. Grind it for just few seconds and it shouldn't be too pasty. Take this out and put it with kept ground figs.

7Now, knead the mixture little and make equal size of laddus out of it. You can grease your hand with ghee if the mixture is sticking to your hand. For me, it is not sticky. Shape all the laddus and store it. Enjoy it whenever you want!!

NOTES

Add raisins, poppy seeds, sesame seeds if desired.

Do not ground the fig and dates too much. Otherwise it will become like a paste.

Instead of grinding the nuts, you can chop them and add it for crunchiness.

This laddu stays good for a week in an airtight container.

Since figs and dates have different texture, I did grind them separately.
