Peanut Butter is very easy to make at home with very few ingredients. It can be made within 10 minutes and you can store this in a refrigerator for more than a month. I am sure this won't be there that much long.:) you will finish it in no time. It can be eaten as a spread, I couldn't resist myself from eating as it is while making.

Here I used peanuts that are roasted with shell. So I removed the shell first and removed the skin. To reduce the work, you can buy roasted peanuts without shells. On the other hand, if you have raw peanuts (without shell), simply roast them with a little oil till it becomes golden brown then remove the skin and proceed the steps. Even though I bought the roasted peanuts, I like to toast it again to just warm it up a little bit. So that the oil from the peanuts are getting released easily while grinding.

Here, I used sunflower oil. You can also use peanut oil or canola oil. But do not use oilve oil since it has a lot of flavor. If you want a deep brown color in peanut butter, partially remove the skin of the peanuts.

I have specified the making time as 10 minutes in the recipe. Because of my blender it took 10 minutes. Since it was heated up a little bit, I ground it with gap in between. If you have powerful mixer/blender/food processor, it will reach the consistency in 5 minutes. You can also add flavoring to this, just add little bit cocoa powder to this while grinding, there you get a chocolate peanut butter. Soon I will share a milkshake recipe with peanut butter. Now, it is time to make some peanut butter..

If you are taking raw peanuts, roast it with a teaspoon of oil in a pan till it becomes golden brown (around 10 min). When the peanuts are still warm (not hot), add them to the blender/mixer/food processor. Grind it coarsely first.

2Continue grinding for another 2 minutes till it becomes smooth, thick and it will come together. In between grinding, scrape the sides of the blender and mix it. Thus helps to grind it evenly. Once it comes together and smooth, add honey, oil, salt to the blender.
